Box is used at Illinois Tech for
- Documents requiring signatures.
- Requesting secure uploading of documents.
- Storage of data that requires extra compliance (HIPAA, PCI, etc...)
Available to
Faculty and staff that have a business need covered by the features and benefits listed above may request Box access.
Cost
There is no cost to the individual or department to use Box.
How to Access
- If you were sent an email activation link, please follow the steps including creating a temporary password. Once the setup is complete sign out and go to step 2 to finish the Single Sign On (SSO) process. If you were not sent an email continue to step 2
- Log into portal.iit.edu
- Click Tools->Search for “Box” and click to launch the application
How to Request Access
Click the Request Access button and fill out the form.
