What is the procedure for resetting passwords?

Answer

All password reset requests must come directly from the individual to whom the account belongs. The following options are available:

SELF-SERVICE:  Reset your password via Access Illinois Tech (https://iit.okta.com/) by clicking “Need help signing in?” under the “Sign In” button and then click “Forgot Password?”

RESET PASSWORD LINK:  If self-service does not work and you have a secondary email address set up in Access Illinois Tech (https://iit.okta.com/), we send you a reset password link.

PHONE:  For students, faculty, and staff who are in the domestic U.S. currently, please call 312-567-3375 between 8am and 6pm Central Time, Monday through Fridays.

WEB CHAT:  For students, faculty, and staff who are currently in other countries, we have Microsoft Teams chat sessions available.   Please reply with a non-Illinois Tech Microsoft Teams account, AND a 30-minute window to contact you between 8am and 6pm Central Time, Monday through Fridays.
