How can I change my portal password?
Answer
Please utilize one of these two methods:
1. In the Illinois Tech Portal:
- Click on user options (your photo icon top right) and go to Account Settings
- Under the Password Management Section, click the Open Security Settings button. You'll be taken to Okta.

- Under the Password Section (top right) click Edit. You may be prompted to log into your university account again via Okta.
- Enter your current password and new password and click Change Password.
- If you run into problems, please contact our support desk.
2. If you need further assistance, please contact the OTS support desk at 312-567-3375.
*Note that the OTS Support Desk cannot reset passwords via e-mail.
