Windows Desktop/Laptops
1. Ensure that your Wi-Fi is turned on
2. In the system tray, near the clock, click the globe icon
3. Select IIT-Secure and then the Connect button
4. Enter your Illinois Tech full email address and password. Click the OK button.
5. If prompted, click Connect.
Apple Laptops/Desktops
1. Make sure your Wi-Fi is turned on.
2. Select IIT-Secure from the list of available wireless networks.
3. Enter your Illinois Tech full email address and password. Click the Join button.
Apple iPhones and iPads
1. Ensure your Wi-Fi is turned on.
2. Select IIT-Secure from the list of available wireless networks.
3. Enter your Illinois Tech full email address in the Username field and then your password.
4. Tap Trust in the upper right-hand corner.
Android devices
1. Ensure that your Wi-Fi is turned on.
2. Select IIT-Secure from the list of available wireless networks.
3. Enter or select the following for:
a. EAP Method: PEAP
b. Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPV2
c. CA Certificate: Use system certificates
d. Online Certificate Status: Do not validate
e. Domain: iit.edu
f. Identity: enter your full email address
g. Anonymous Identity: *leave it blank*
h. Password: enter your password
Press Connect.
