How do I share things in Microsoft?
Answer
Using OneDrive:
File and document sharing:
- Right-click on the file or folder you want to share
- Select Share
- Enter the email addresses of the people you want to share with
- Choose the permissions (e.g., Can edit, Can view)
- Click Send
Get a sharing link:
- Right-click on the file or folder.
- Select Share.
- Click on Copy link.
- Adjust the link settings (e.g., Anyone with the link, People in your organization, Specific people).
- Copy the link and share it via email or any other communication tool. "
Share using a Microsoft Team:
Share a File in a Chat or Channel:
- Go to the chat or channel where you want to share the file.
- Click on the Attach (paperclip) icon.
- Select the file from your computer or OneDrive.
- Click Send.
Share a Link to a File:
- Upload the file to the Files tab in a channel.
- Right-click on the file and select Copy link.
- Share the link in a chat or channel message.
